Costello Travel Nominated for Best Travel Agent at The Yorkshire Wedding Awards 2026

I'm absolutely delighted (and still a little shocked!) to share that I've been nominated for Best Travel Agent at The Yorkshire Wedding Awards 2026.

And what makes it even more special? Costello Travel is one of just four businesses listed in the category.

As an independent travel agent running Costello Travel single-handedly, it's quite something to see my business recognised alongside established names in the travel industry.

A lovely surprise

The nomination came through The UK Wedding Event, following the wedding shows I've attended across Yorkshire.

I've spent much of this year meeting couples, talking about their honeymoon plans, introducing them to destinations they might never have considered and building relationships with other wedding businesses.

So receiving an email telling me I'd been nominated was a wonderful surprise.

There's more to a honeymoon than you might think

One of the things I love most about running Costello Travel is showing people what they didn't know was there.

A honeymoon doesn't have to mean two weeks on a beach, although there's absolutely nothing wrong with that!

It could be a safari followed by time on the coast, a boutique hotel tucked away somewhere beautiful, exploring several destinations together or something completely different.

I work with independent and specialist travel suppliers around the world, which means I can explore hotels, experiences and destinations that aren't always easy to find on the usual booking websites.

And although honeymoons and once-in-a-lifetime holidays are a particular focus of Costello Travel, I help with holidays of all kinds.

Thank you for the support

Being nominated for The Yorkshire Wedding Awards means a great deal, particularly as Costello Travel is a one-woman business.

Thank you to everyone who has recommended me, spoken to me at an event, booked a holiday or supported the business.

The awards ceremony takes place on 28 November 2026 at Headingley Stadium in Leeds.

Costello Travel is nominated in the Best Travel Agent category, and the awards include a public voting process.
